Mai 2010 CACIB Saarbrücken: Am Pfingstmontag war Megan's Tag - Beste Hündin - Best of Breed - Jamie bekam ein V2 und die Reserve-Anwartschaft. Gerli war im Obedience erfolgreich, nachdem Kanoa etwas beindruckt war und leider an der DM nicht bestanden hat, hat er in zwei darauffolgenden Prüfungen trotz einem 0-Ergebnis ein SG erreicht. Lani war wie gewohnt sehr zuverlässig und hat in beiden Obedience 2 Prüfungen ein Vorzüglich mit erstem Platz erreicht. Weiter so Gerli. CACIB Saarbrücken: On Monday it was Megan's day: Best Bitch - Best of Breed - Jamie got an Excellent 2nd place. Gerli was succesful in Obedience, after Kanoa hat not a good run at the German Championship he had two very good results even with a 0 in one exercise. Lani was very constantly and got two excellent in Obedience 2 with first places.
März 2010 CACIB München: Wir fuhren am Vortag nach München zu Gerlis Mama und feierten Gerlis Geburtstag. Am Tag danach waren wir aufgrund des wieder zurückgekehrten Winters fast die ersten auf der Ausstellung weil wir ja schon in München waren. Wie immer trafen wir nette Aussie-Leute, was neben dem eigentlichen Ausstellen immer sehr schön ist. Unsere Ergebnisse: Jamie V3 in der Zwischenklasse, Lani ein unplatziertes SG in der Offenen Klasse und Kanoa wurde Bester Rüde. Auf der Heimfahrt hat uns dann doch der Winter eingeholt und nach einer langen Fahrt waren wir froh wieder zu Hause zu sein. Gleich 14 Tage später ging es auf die CACIB Offenburg. Blacky (Burning Bonfire) wurde Bester Veteran und wurde 2. im Veteranenwettbewerb über alle Rassen. Dann startete Sugar Rafter Creek's Cotton Candy in der Jüngstenklasse und wurde mit einem vielversprechend 2 von 7 Hündinnen, nur geschlagen von ihrer Schwester Javeline Rafter Creek's Crazy Quilt von Bea & Yves. Der Bruder hat es ihnen aber auch vorgemacht Kiss Rafter Creek's Chism Kiss von Romy wurde ebenfalls 1. in der Jüngstenklasse. Shadow Rafter Creek's Blue Chip wurde mit einem Vorzüglich 2. in der Offenen Klasse. Lani wurde mit einem Vorzüglich 3 in der offenen Klasse. Kanoa und Megan gewannen jeweils die Championklasse, Max wurde zweiter in der Championklasse ebenfalls mit einem Vorzüglich und hat damit seinen VDH Champion! Bester Rüde und BOB wurde dann Kanoa und Beste Hündin Megan. Was für ein Einstand für meine Maus nach der Welpenpause. CACIB Munich: we were driving the day before to Munich to visit Gerlis mum and to celebrate Gerlis birthday. Day after winter was coming back and we were happy to be already in Munich, because we nearly were the first exhibitors in the morning. We alos met nice Aussie people what is always nice beside showing the dogs. Our results: Jamie V3 in the intermediate class, Lani a very good in the open class and Kanoa went Best Male. On the way beck the winter catched us and after a long drive we were happy to be at home again. 14 days later we went to the CACIB show in Offenburg. Blacky (Burning Bonfire) went Best Veteran and went 2. in the Veteran competition over all breeds. Kanoa and Megan won the Championclass, Max went second in the Championclass and finished his German Championship with an excellent. Best Male and BOB was Kanoa and Best Bitch Megan. What a win for my sweetheart after her puppy break.
Februar 2010 CACIB Fribourg: An beiden Tagen wurden Jamie als auch Max mit Vorzüglich bewertet, obwohl sich Jamie entschieden hatte ohne Haare zu starten und Max hatte Probleme mit dem kleinen Ring. So war es am Samstag Shadow's Tag (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip): er gewann die offene Klasse mit einem Vorzüglich und wurde Reserve Bester Rüde - am Tag danach bekam er ebenfalls ein Vorzüglich und den dritten Platz. Jetzt fehlt noch eine Anwartschaft für den Schweizer Champion. CACIB Fribourg: Both days Jamie and Max got an excellent even if Jamie decided to go naked and Max had problems with the small ring. So the first days was Shadow's day (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip): he won the open class with an excellent and went Reserve Best Male - the day after he also got an excellent and a third place. Now he is just missing on award towards the Swiss Championship. November 2009 Kurz vor unserem Urlaub in der Normandie ging es noch auf die Ausstellung in Friedrichshafen. Gerli mußte alle meine Hunde ausstellen, da ich Sonderleiter war und nicht ausstellen durfte. Am Freitag nachmittag haben wir noch geübt und die Hunde für die Ausstellung gerichtet. Um es vorwegzuschicken Gerli hat es hervorragend gemacht und hier und unsere Platzierungen: Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) V2 in der Championklasse unter Dr. Peper und am Sonntag unter Penny Richards, Accra Australian Shepherd wurde er 1. in der Championklasse und Reserve Bester Rüde. Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) erhielt ein V2 in der Offenen Klasse unter Dr. Peper und ein V3 in der Offenen Klasse bei Penny Richards, Jamie erhielt bei Dr. Peper ein V3 in der Zwischenklassse und ein V1 bei Penny Richards sowie Reserve Beste Hündin. Damit haben wir bei Lani eine gute Grundlage für den Award of Merit Versatility gelegt, es gibt nur wenige Hunde die so gute Ergebnisse im Sport vorweisen können und mit dem Formwert Vorzüglich bewertet werden. Short before our vacation in the Normandie (France) we went to a show in Friedrichshafen. Gerli needs to handle all my dogs as I was not allowed as I;m belong to the organisational team of the show. On Friday afternoon we spend time to train Gerli handling and to prepare our dogs. To let you know before: Gerli did a great job and here our placements: Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) Ex2 in the Champion class under Dr. Peper and on Sunday under Penny Richards, Accra Australian Shepherd he went 1. in the Champion class and Reserve Best Male. Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) got a Exc2 in the Open class under Dr. Peper and a Exc 3 in the Open class from Penny Richards, Jamie got from Dr. Peper an Exc 3 in the Intermediate Class and a Exc. 1 from Penny Richards and on top she went Reserve Best Bitch. With that we have a great possibility for Lani in the Award of Merit Versatility programme because there are not many dogs that have excellent results in sport and in the show.
Oktober 2009 Eigentlich wollte ich nicht zur Bundessiegerzuchtschau nach Dortmund fahren, ich dachte meine kleine Jamie (Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars) wäre einfach noch nicht so weit. Denkste. Die Überraschung in positivem Sinne war groß unsere Kleine machte in der Zwischenklasse den 2. Platz mit V und weil es die Bundessiegerzuchtschau war, wird dies zu einer vollen Anwartschaft aufgewertet. Am nächsten Tag wurde sie sogar 1. mit V in der Zwischenklasse und Reserve-Beste Hündin. Mit zwei Anwartschaften im Gepäck hat sich das echt gelohnt. Auch Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy) wurde am Samstag 1. in der Championklasse und am Sonntag 2. in der Championklasse und Reserve-Bester Rüde. Max fehlt jetzt noch eine Anwartschaft und dann hat er auch seinen VDH Champion in der Tasche. Gerli hat mit Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) und Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) mal schnell den Agility Beginner Titel geholt - Glückwunsch Gerli! Normaly I didn't wanted to go to Dortmund to the National Winner Show, I thought Jamie (Mill Creek's Guidance By The Stars) has not matured as I expected. So we had a surprise in a positive way, she made a second place with an "Excellent" in the Intermediate Class and as it was the National Winner show this is a full award towards the German Championship. The next day she went 1 with an "Excellent" in the Intermediate Class and went Reserve-Best Bitch. With two awards towards her VDH Championschip we left Dortmund very happy. Also Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy) went 1. in The Championclass and on Sunday 2 in the Championclass and Reserve Best Male. So one award is missing to close the VDH Champion, too. Gerli has finished with Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight) and Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing) the Agility Novice title - CONGRATULATION Gerli! August/September 2009 BABYPAUSE! Ja, jetzt heißt es zuhause bleiben und Welpen großziehen - eine Aufgabe, die die ganze Familie in Beschlag nimmt. Wir haben für alle Welpen tolle Familien gefunden. Juli/July 2009 Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing BH o1) hat auch an ihrem vierten Obedience I Turnier ein Vorzüglich erzielt - was für ein Lauf! Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH O1 OW) hat die Quali für die Bundessiegerprüfung in Bayern geschafft - wir drücken schon jetzt die Daumen.Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing BH o1) has achieved the fourth Excellent in this year in Obedience 1 - great job! Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH O1 OW) achieved his qualification for the National Winner Competition in Bavaria. July 7: our puppies out of Megan and Tag arrived. We have 5 bitches (3 blue merle/2 black tri) and 4 males (3 black tri/1 blue merle). Megan was the happiest dog when she could catch balls today again. Spezialzuchtschau in Donaueschingen mit Gail Karamalegos: mit 76 gemeldeten Hunden war Donaueschingen eine sehr große Zuchtschau. Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH 01 02) wurde Reserve Bester Rüden, Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy CHR BH AA1) wurde zweiter der Top 5 und Shadow (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip CHR) erhielt ebenfalls ein Vorzüglich. Die Hündinnen erhielten alle ein Sehr Gut waren allerdings auch jeweils die Jüngsten in der Klasse. Specialty Show in Donaueschingen with Gail Karamalegos: with 76 entries Donaueschingen was a big specialty. Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH 01 02) went Reserve Best Male, Max (CH Rafter Creek's A Trip To Italy CHR BH AA1) went second of the Top 5 Male and Shadow (Rafter Creek's Blue Chip CHR) got also an excellent. The bitches all got a very good, which was fine, because they were the youngest in their classes. Kanoa hat Georgi gedeckt - im Zwinger "of Shawnee's Home" wird es hoffentlich bald Nachzucht von ihm geben. Kanoa was bred to Georgi at the kennel "of Shawnee's Home".
Lani (Rafter Creek's Buck N Wing BH o1) hat auch an ihrem dritten Obedience I Turnier ein Vorzüglich erzielt - tolle Leistung Gerli! Aber Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH O1 OW) hat auch ein Vorzüglich geschafft und den ersten Platz in Obedience 3. Glückwunsch Gerli, toller Job mit beiden Hunden. Kanoa's Sohn Aghy gezogen von Lovely Workaholics wurde aus der Zwischenklasse bei der ASA Clubschau Bester Rüde, bester in Österreich gezogener Aussie und Best of Breed -wie der Vater so der Sohn - Gratulation an die Züchterin Gabi Glaser. Kanoa's son Aghy from Lovely Workaholics had a great weekend at the Club Winner Show in Austria too: out of the intermediate class he went Best Male, best Austrian Bred Aussie and Best of Breed - so he is stepping into his father footsteps. Congratulation to his breeder Gabi Glaser. Kanoa hat Manon's Hündin aus den Niederlanden gedeckt. Kanoa was bred to Manon's bitch - see puppy page! Mai/May 2009 Wir bekommen Welpen! Der Ultraschall hat unsere Hoffnungen bestätigt: Megan ist schwanger. We will get puppies! Megan is pregnant!
Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH O1 O2) hat Püppi (Amelie of Nashagak River) gedeckt - Anfang Juli müßte es hoffentlich Welpen bei Petra Caspelherr (of Nashagak River) geben. Kanoa (CH Mill Creek's Night Flight CHR BH O1 O2) has been bred to Püppi (Amelie of Nashagak River) - at the beginning of July we hopefully expect puppies at Petra Caspelherr's kennel of Nashagak River.
April/April 2009 Megan (CH Mill Creek's American Express) ist Most Versatile Australian Shepherd Bitch 2008 im CASD. Ich bin sehr stolz, dass wir das dieses Jahr geschafft haben! Sie wurde auch beste Confirmation Hündin und hat den zweiten Platz bei Obedience Beginner erreicht. Ich bin so stolz auf mein tolles Mädchen, sie ist einfach nur ein Traum. Unsere Hope (CH Caitland's Spirit of Hamlet) hat in ihrer letzten Saison sogar noch den dritten Platz im Versatility AOM erreicht. Das ist ein schöner Abschluss für eine bemerkenswerte Karriere. Blacky (CH Burning Bonfire) wurde zweiter in Obedience 1. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an Kurt, sowas ist immer Teamarbeit. Anfang März habe ich dann erste Agility-Turnier mit Megan besucht. Mit 4,5 Sek/m war sie einfach zu schnell für mich und der Preis waren dann zwei Kontaktzonenfehler. Aber Megan hat es tierisch Spaß gemacht und ich habe mich geärgert weil ich meinem guten Hund nicht gerecht werden konnte. Weiter üben. Megan (CH Mill Creek's American Express) went Most Versatile Australian Shepherd Bitch 2008 in the CASD. I'm very proud that we were able to get this award. Beside that she also got AOM Confirmation Bitch and also achieved the 2nd place Obedience Novice. I'm very proud on my beautiful and outstanding girl, she is just a dream of an Aussie. Our Hope (CH Caitland's Spirit of Hamlet) has achieved 3rd place in the AOM Versatility programme in her last competition season. This is a marvellous and the end of an outstanding carreer. Blacky (CH Burning Bonfire) went 2nd in Obedience 1 (comp. to CDX) - congratulation to Kurt, such achievements are always teamwork. At the beginning of March we went to the first Agility Competition this year with Megan. She went 4,5 sec. per meter and just was too fast for me, so we got two mistakes. But Megan loved it and I was angry about myself, that I was not able to work on the same level as my dog.
Februar/February 2009 Fribourg war unsere erste Ausstellung in diesem Jahr. Shadow "Rafter Creek Blue Chip CHR" hat am Samstag ein V3 gemacht und seine Mama Megan "CH Mill Creek's American Express CHR BH OB" wurde Beste Hündin. Am Samstag wurde dann Shadow mit einem VI Reserve Bester Rüde und Megan hat ein V1 in der Championklasse erreicht. Damit hat Shadow seine erste Anwartschaft in der Schweiz und Megan ein weiteres CACIB.
Januar/January 2009 Die erste gute Nachricht dieses Jahres ist, dass wir für Shadow ein tolles neues Zuhause gefunden haben. Shadow lebt nun bei Familie Kienzle in Donaueschingen und hat sich super eingelebt. Es funktioniert ohne Probleme und auch mit dem 1-jährigen Enkelkind ist Shadow - obwohl er sonst sehr überschwänglich ist - überaus vorsichtig und lieb. Shadow trainiert mit Elmar in meiner Junghundeklasse und bedingt curch die Nähe in der Shadow nun lebt kann er auch der Zucht erhalten bleiben. Ansonsten haben wir es im Januar eher gemütlich angehen lassen, dafür habe ich aber mit Megan und Jamie einen Longierkurs besucht. Ein sehr interessantes Thema für jeden Ausbilder und Hundesportler. Meinen Hündinnen hat der Tag auf jeden Fall super Spaß gemacht. The first good news in this year was that we found a new place for Shadow. Shadow is now living with Family Kienzle in Donaueschingen. In the meantime he belongs to his now family and it's working quite good for all parties involved. Also with the 1-year old granddaughter he is doing fine. Shadow is working with Elmar in Obedience and due that he now lives so close to me he is available as stud dog. We were very lazy in January and just did two sporting clinics with Jamie and Megan. The dogs loved it!
